Hood Fjord Live is a free calendar of live music in Union, Shelton, Belfair and the rest of Mason County. It exists because the listings were scattered across a dozen Facebook pages and nobody could answer the simplest question: who is playing tonight, and where.
Right now it tracks 62 artists at 20 venues across 7 towns. Listings come from venue schedules and from the artists themselves. Nothing is scraped, nothing is invented, and if we cannot confirm a detail we leave it blank rather than guess.
There is no charge to be listed, for artists or for venues, and no listing is ranked above another. It is a community calendar, not an ad board.
If you play around the canal, you probably already have a page here. Most are still bare, because small local acts are genuinely hard to research from the outside. Tell us who you are and we will fill it in — genre, home town, a short description, and links to wherever people can hear you.
If you book live music anywhere in Mason County we would like your schedule, however you find it easiest to send — a spreadsheet, an email, or just a page we can check. You get your own venue page with your address, links and every upcoming show, and your dates appear on the calendar the same day they reach us.
Times get mistyped and shows get cancelled. If a listing here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Times are as published by the venue, so it is always worth calling ahead before you drive.
